Or perhaps it isn't a mistake...

As for "the chairman"... Sinatra as the leader of the aliens doesn't sound right... then again, they did take Elvis.

Hey I might've missed it, but before things closed down for Valiant, did they ever follow up from a story thread left dangling from the first story-arc in PSI-LORDS involving the Spider-Aliens ? At the end of the story, the Starwatchers caught a nest of Spider-Aliens, and due to it being hardwired into the nanotech that gave them thier abilities they couldn't kill them. So they had the aliens set up on an asteroid converted as a penal colony, and then came the real punishment. Using the nanotech that made the Psi-Lords' tech, they injected the Spider-Aliens with a nanotech programed to alter thier physiology to make them vegetarians. Which was totally blasphemous to a race of plant worshippers
, and the leader of the group Spider-Aliens promised revenge for this damnation. Writer Tony Benard thought it would've been interesting if the world of the future was going to suffer an invasion vegen Spider-Aliens.
Also the Spider-Aliens don't soley subsit on humans for food. In the Armorines opening arc one of the Spider-Aliens talk about how they occasionally fed off the mutant sharks they created to guard thier undersea base. So animals are also on the menu, and they can also go cannibal according to the Wizard special.
