Diggle on Daredevil

Anyone know anything about Diggle? Does he do anything else that's somewhat noir like DD?

I don't think I've read anything from him. I hope he can step into Bendis and Brubaker's shoes.

I haven't read much from him either, but he wrote recent issues of Thunderbolts which I've enjoyed...

but DD has been superb for so long, tough writers to follow. A shame it doesn't get more support. Rather....Criminal ?

This was my initial thought as well, and then I read this interview with him on DD:

He sounds like he really gets DD and while I'm still disappointed Bru is leaving, I'm anxious to see what Diggle does with the book.

Thanks for the article. :thumb: He does seem to get it. I'll have to check out that Dark Reign Hawkeye book to get a taste for his style.

As long as he doesn't change the tone of the book, I think I'll like it. DD should always be a dark book with the weight of the world on Matt's shoulders.

Diggle is great.

He wrote for and is an ex editor of British anthology comic 2000AD, he's done a great run on Hellblazer, his Vertigo title: The Losers is being filmed this summer (and is ace).

Strikes me as a great choice for DD.
