Need Armorines v2 #4

Post by Lightning Strike »

Hey guys, if anyone has an extra copy of this for sell, please pm me. It doesn't have to be NM.

I'm constantly outbid on this item on Ebay and have never been able to find a copy, so I'll settle for getting this issue in any condition.

This is a very hard issue to get. Most likely will cost you big $$$ regardless of condition.

Good luck bro.

Elveen is right, LS.

The later Accliam books are bringing some mighty high prices. This is a case where you can't really go by the price guide because of it's rarity.

I know, I just hate paying that much for one book. I bid $36 because postage was $6, so it would have cost me $42 and it still wasn't enough. I'm going to Wizard world this summer so I'm going to try and find one cheaper. Maybe a dealer will have one in FN condition for a cheaper price (I hope).

I really had to think long and hard about selling my rare Acclaim books. I don't regret it, I had to do it, but ...... I probably will not see another copy of those books.

Good luck Lightning.

I think the economy has something to do with that. This book is easily an 80 dolllar book, IMO.

Yea I definitely agree. Greg should definitely modify the price of this book in his guide. I sold one not long ago for $75 and have another person inquiring about one whom he also is willing to dish out $75 for one. This book is just too rare to sit in the $40 range.

I woulds say that most or the ultra-rare Acclaim books are under priced.

Hmmm. I have passed on 4-5 of these in the past few months because I felt they were overpriced [being in the $65-$75 range]

I have no problems paying $100 for a Shadowman Glow or GBU, but just feel $75 is too much for the Armorines. I guess I will need to re-think that with everyone willing to pay that much for them. :?

geez, I remember picking my SM Glow for $.25 and three Armorines V2 #4 for less than cover. Kept one, gave the other two away... oh yeah, also was given a GBU, had it for 4 seconds and gave it to another guy. This was all in the same shop if I remember correctly.

Ahh the good old days.

I've found three GBUs so far in my adventures, paid a $1.00 for each. Only have one left now. Yep, good old days.

really? the prices on these Acclaim books are that high?
Wow. Now I'm really glad I got my books back.

Ha! those people at the LCS aren't laughing and telling me I wasted my money on Acclaim books now!

I found the GBU and gave it to you.
You handed it off to our "friend".

At a different shop, you pulled 3 of the Armorines #4s and I asked if I could have one.
I'm sure our "friend" asked for another one... and I hope you kept the 3rd.

Correct, and I just could not remember the year.

I gave our 'friend' a GBU and a Armorines v2 #4 all in one day... now it is all coming back and in the end, how foolish I was but back then who knew ? Yes, I kept the third.
