We are very happy this year to have Nintendo as an exhibitor at Planet Comicon. They have recently released a new title to their Fire Emblem series. This title, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, is a remake of the first Fire Emblem that was only released in Japan. The new game launch is very exciting for the Fire Emblem series and is played on the Nintendo DS. Nintendo representatives will be demoing the game, having live presentations of the History of the Franchise, the Hall of Weapons display, and will offer Head-to-Head game play with their professional gamers. They will also feature live characters, in costume, of the main characters of the game, Prince Marth and Princess Caeda.

I bought a bunch of old uncanny x-men for my collection from 0.50 bins.iggy101us wrote:Find any Valiants or got any good deals?caxiotis wrote:I bought my ticket for this today.
The best deal I found was a New Mutants #98 in fine condition at a 0.50 bin and sold it for $26 on ebay. I did not find that many valiants. I saw one guy had a harbinger 0 and 1 w/coupon displayed and he wanted $60 and $80 for them.
I went over to the artist Michael Golden's table and was flipping through his original art and saw he was selling the cover pencil sketch to the Archer and Armstrong Hard Cover. I thought that was really cool. I asked him how much he wanted for it and he said $400, but that was negotiable and I immediately passed. I really wanted it, but not for that much.
I looked through another guys boxes who had a VALIANT section and all of this pre-unity books were over priced.
I met DayDream comics. He is a really nice guy but he was busy everytime I walked by his table, so I did not talk with him for long.
Overall I really enjoyed it as it was my first comic con. Seeing all of the people and meeting some of the artists/writers was a new experience.

Sounded like you had a good time. Great pick up on the New Mutants #98.
