Nice. Do you use the Broadway gloves as you read your books?
No - I'm just THAT careful. I don't bend spines all the way out on paperback stuff (trades and books) and I lay books in my lap, so my fingers aren't always putting pressure on the edges of pages. That and careful storage kept that Bone trade in 9.4 condition...

But don't worry trying to keep it that nice. I know that's esp. what TPBs are for (I just can't do it myself - a bit of "Monk" OCD thing, I guess.)

Yesterday I got in a VERY nice box of books from Doorman as part of a huge trade. Not only was I VERY pleased with the books I traded for (BEAUTIFUL SHAPE), but he also sent along some VERY cool DU books and low and behold, yep I took up a couple to collect. The really cool thing about all of this (aside from the GREAT packing, GREAT deal, GREAT trade and everything being WAY beyond my expectations) is that he also sent along a sealed PC game... Rogue Troops, cause ya know, I loves me some Rogue Trooper !!! This was just an extra that was above and beyond the call of duty and I want to thank Doorman SO MUCH for doing a great trade and the freebies that went along with it.

YOU ROCK DUDE... (I am REALLY looking forward to our deal that we have going on now, I am in comics overload !!)

Thanks Doorman !!!

A HUGE thank you goes out to Phantom, all the way from England he sent me the Defiant letter/envelope and white gloves that went with the Birth of the Defiant Universe book. Thank you !!! That was a very neat and MUCH needed surprise. Bringing my Defiant Collection MUCH closer to completion.

On top of that in an INCREDIBLE feat of generousity, he sent me his Platinum Bloodshot #0. I mean this TOTALLY blew me away and on top of that is was the coverless Plat BS #0 !!! I mean you want to talk about 'rare'... a seriously one of a kind item.

Thanks for EVERYTHING Phantom... your kindness and sense of humor shall not be forgotten. :thumb:

Kudos to Doorman for hooking me up with the last two issues of Sojourn I needed, FREE! :thumb: He also threw in a cool looking freebie, The Spider Presents by Blazing Comics. Looks like it might be an interesting Dead Universe.

Doorman, if you get a chance, send over that list of books you're looking for again. I accidentally deleted all my old PM's.

A big thanks to Worldbestcomics, in the third quarter of last year he had two books I needed for my collection. A Solar #5 CGC 9.8 and a Magnus #7 CGC 9.8.

He held onto them till I could pay, thats over six months!

Top man.
Gavster - saving to complete his Pre-Unity run in CGC 9.8
