If you want to take the safe route when buying maybe start out with some of the board members that have been around a while just to get your feet wet. Always pay using paypal. It will give you some protection just in case. Also some of the long term members (because they have never stopped buying) can often give you the best deals.
I have found plenty of new members that worked out just as well though . . .
Other than that, I hope you stick around and enjoy yourself a little . . we are all still holding out hope that we can walk into a comic shop and pick up new Valiant books soon . . .
Oh yeah . . .
