Denver Starfest, April 17 - 19

Looks like the wife and I are making it to this one. Looks pretty weak; guests include Mr. Data and Ethan Van Sciver's brother (seriously).

My expectations are low but she is basically looking for an excuse to visit family in Denver.

Anybody else looking at going to this one?

Nothing quite that good. I did find Turok 47, Ninjak 20 - 26 and (Uncanny) X-Men 138 all in the 25 cent bins. I loaded up 3 of those Diamond boxes and mailed them to myself from quarter bins.

I did get a cover that Scorpio Steele designed mostly to impress Christopher Priest - it featured Acclaim characters but was appointed like a Gold Key Doctor Solar cover. That is in the mail right now and will be in later this week. I also won a silent auction for a pretty awesome bound Nexus set and got it autographed by Mike Baron.
