If any of you have been thinking of getting on twitter, but have been slacking, I'll be tweeting away from the NYCC all weekend. Any cool info I learn, impressions, etc will be on the feed.

It probably won't be out till this weekend.

Time, like money, isn't exactly growing on trees for me.

Get it now.

http://onlythevaliant.com/episodes/22

We talk about the convention, have some friends from the board drop in to chat, and catch up with JayJay Jackson and Bernard Chang.

Oh, and some guy stopped by to talk about Valiant comics. I think his name was, uh, Jim Shooter or something like that.

Enjoy!

Great Installment! How'd you "California Boys" Make the time & money to get to NY for a ComicCon!

Shooter's Interview was the pinnacle of this Podcast thus far and pretty much what we've all been waiting for so big props on getting that done :thumb:

I have one question. Did anyone ask Shooter if he heard any of the previous podcasts? I heard "Do You Know Who We Are" But not "have you heard the podcast." Just curious.

I was listening to the finished product again this morning, and there are some rough audio spots. There are places where there is a lot of echo and stuff. I think it gets a little better.

This episode was a nightmare to edit ;)

I asked Jim about his work for VEI when we weren't recording. He mentioned that it was interestign to revisit some of the characters for the hardcover backup stories, and he spoke kindly about the VEI guys.

If there is any further involvement than that, he wasn't volunteering the information.

I'm about 1/2 way through. Jim sounds like a great guy to talk to. I am not usually the jealous type, but..... it sure would have been cool to talk to Big Jim.

Thanks for doing this for us.

I have to say that this was by far the best podcast that ya'll have put out. Even with the audio problems, it was still a joy to listen to. I wasn't sure if it was my copy or all of them, but I guess I know now.

I think the best part for me was that I didn't read the whole description you had when I downloaded it, so I had no idea that there were going to be interviews, especially with Shooter. To be honest I didn't know what you guys were going to talk about, because I knew there was no VEI presence to talk about.

So, great job! :thumb:

No way Bro.

I just was talking to Doc the other day about how I think you and "the artist formerly know as" are a perfect counter balance.
