My grandpa used to have quite a collection of bottles shaped like guns and other stuff. Seeing that pic brings back a lot memories.

Making my way through Twilight Princess on the Wii.

It's a great game, don't get me wrong. But Ocarina of Time came out what 12 years ago...I kind of expected a little more out of it, but I still have a ways to go and the three dungeons I have done so far were good (more challenging than OOT IMO) so we will see.

The game was originally designed to be for the GC and was supposed to be released a year before the Wii came out. Delays and retooling pushed the date back, so they decided to wait and release an "improved version" as a launch title for the Wii (as well as a version for the GC).

It is a great game, but I feel it could have been longer and more involved. If they would have started making it soley for the Wii, I think that would have been the case.

Ah, it makes sense now. Hopefully a new one is in the making, but in the meantime I'll enjoy this one.

Thanks for the info!

Word is they are working on one right now as well as another Super Mario game. They are supposed to be for the Wii, but as slow as Nintendo is about developing games like those, I wouldn't be surprised if doesn't materialize until the next gen system is released.

Damn you.

I'm hooked on that stupid little game now...
Are you as bad as I am? I play it 2-3 times a day, and have YET to get to round 50 without letting a bloon through my defenses. Is that the only way to get rounds higher than 50? Because after Rd. 50, no matter what, it always starts over for me.

Trying to kick butt at Guitar Hero: Aerosmith on Medium... my pinky doesnt work that well after breaking both of them in Haiti back in '94 but maybe this is good rehab after all these years. The Aerosmith songs are TOUGH.

I bet the story about breaking both pinkies is a good one.

I have problems going past medium with the GH games on guitar, but I can handle hard fairly easy on bass.

I do just fine on Medium. Have gotten 100% on several songs, and get LOTS of 99%. But hard just kicks my tail. When those orange notes come down the highway, I totally lose it.

I know exactly what you mean. Once it goes past one finger for each button I just can't keep up.

Right now I'm playing Too Human and I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as a lot of the reviews I read. It's actually pretty fun.

Really ? Man, I traded that game back in pretty quick. I think it was because you die a lot... and that is not 'so bad' but the lengthy cinematic that you have to watch EVERY TIME just got old. You couldnt even hit A to skip it or anything.

Pretty nice graphics but for all the freakin' hype that went into... I came away pretty disappointed.

I'm glad someone can see past all the hollow aspects that I got out of it. I think it could have been a great game but, just lacking in areas that I thought would make it an epic game.

Uh-oh... maybe I spoke too soon. I don't know how far along I am in the game (maybe an hour or two) but I haven't hit a problem with staying alive yet. I have a feeling if I get to dying a lot with long cinematics that I can't skip then I might wind up turning it in too. Most of the complaints that I had heard were that the gameplay wasn't that fun and there was too much resource collecting. I do admit that walking is a bit awkward using only the left analog.

I am considering giving up on games for a while. Too expensive. Except for the ones I already have. Especially Tetris & the Final Fantasy series.

Oh snap!

Tetris is AWESOME! May I also recommend Dr. Mario?

Played it. Not bad. A tiny bit of a pill, at times. Yoshi's Cookie was more fun.

At first I thought you meant Yoshi [which I own on NES]. It is NOT better than Dr. Mario.

However, I've never played Yoshi's Cookie ... now, you've piqued my interest.

You can always download a few Wii virtual console games. They usually run about 5 to 10 bucks (Wii points). You might want to check 'em out and see if there is anything that interests you.

Here's a list of the virtual console games currently available.
