Probably about 1.5 mile walk give or take a few blocks, might be a little cold the first week in Feb.
Yup, gonna train it in from New Haven Saturday Morning then Cab it from Grand Central Thats the plan right now anyways seeing as to I 'm waiting till after the first of the year to purchase tickets and hoping my brother is still on for the event.
You could take a cross town bus from GCT too, 42nd street is the stop, I think it may take you all the way to Javits. Google the MTA website and check out the bus routes, M42 specifically.

Correct me if I am wrong, but if your training in on Amtrak from New Haven on the basic train or on the Acela you'll arrive at Penn Station, not GCS and that's a pretty easy 6/7 block walk down 34th to the Javitz. The first time I went in for the svair's first valiantcon I took the train from Boston, it was a nice ride, but, it's cheaper for me and a lot faster to fly out of Portland Maine now so that's what I do.

Its should only cost about under $25 round trip for me (did it a couple weeks ago and was about $20) Not sure on the cab fair but I'm willing to pay a little bit extra to not have to deal with parking and having to drive through NYC traffic I figure maybe at most $10 gas to get to New Haven from my place and yes it does go into GCS but we went over that in earlier post's Its not Amtrak its MetroNorth that we use(Alot Cheaper). If we were going to use Amtrak out of New London, which is closer for me it would be over $100 round trip per person

I understand, didn't know that Amtrak was so much to hop on there, see you.
There's a decent chance I will be helping out at the Toon Tumbler booth. If anyone wants me to bring any Valiants, let me know. I should be able to get a box of stuff in.
I think i just got an email saying there's only 3 more days to buy tickets online. ? Is this true? I mean it's not sold out yet is it? Or is that just so they have time to mail them out? Can one still get them at the door?

The problem is that Saturday usually sells out as soon as the 3 day passes are gone, so you should probably grab a ticket online.
