a better time,comicsyte95's story
i starting collecting comics in 1990,off of newstands and my lcs ,then i moved and bought what i could from local stores.and also i traded comics with my friends.by the time VALIANT came out i had quite a few comics.
i started collecting VALIANT'S because the stories were well written, and the artwork was great, especially the pre-unitys.my favorites were Solar and X-O Manowar(which i thought was a better concept then Iron Man).the possibilites of what Solar could do,made me want to buy each following issue.the same held true with the X-O Manowar,Eternal Warrior,Archer and Armstrong...ect
i collected comics off and on after school, buying and trading quite a few comics.i had kept my Solar and X-0 Manowar's (especially the tpb with the database),as well as a few select others in my personal collection -that i wasnt willing to part with- .as well as dozens to read.In june 2008 Imageowner2 bought some comics off me and talked about comics for awhile he told me about the many VALIANT sites that existed, which i thought as cool.that got me to got me to back through the longboxes and reread some of my old favorites again, and from there i got back into VALIANTS again and bought back the few VALIANTS i sold off to some of my friends -about 30 VALIANTS with higher print runs-i then scoured my areas flea markets,my LCS(which has since closed, sad to say) and ebay buying all i could afford.they are awesome to read,as no matter how many times you read them, the storys never get old!!
in my eyes VALIANT comics truly bring back a better time,i can't be 18 again,so they are the next best thing!!!

Great to hear, it's amazing how many people were affected by Valiant, should be a sure shot sign that this Universe needs to be on the shelves and all media formats. Welcome aboard!
