Any shows being cancelled is a shame for everyone, but Wizard suck, so maybe some people who are actually good for the industry instead of money grabbing hypemasters can replace them.

Told the wife and her reaction was verbatim the same as mine.

"Aww. Well, can't say that was too much of a surprise."

It was a small convention with less than what I would expect for turnout for the biggest comic convention in Texas. The big publishers didn't show up. DC was there but they pretty much phoned it in. Dynamite was there in force, but most of the panels had 10 to 20 people there for their stuff.

Can't imagine that it was profitable.

Oh well. Lubbock in May, here we come. That should kill a couple of hours, at least.
