Longtime Lurker , First Time Poster
Well , i thought i would take a minute to say "hello" to everyone. As my topic says , i'm a longtime lurker and first time poster.
I first started reading Valiant back in the 90's .... slowly i grow out of comics and drifted away from the scene. At the time my favorite titles were Solar and Harbinger. I have to admit that i'm like most Valiant fans and my favorite content is pre-unity material. Though now that i have regained my passion for Valiant comics , the new hardcovers were great reads. X-O and A&A are both new to me , so I can't wait to read the material the comes after what's covered in the hardcovers. Shadowman seems really cool too.
I'm hoping a Shadowman HC is next , seeing as I only have issues 0 and 8. Oh yeah, I have also read the Shadowman unity issues.
Basically I'm going to go back and read everything. Thats my goal anyways.
I'm glad i finally took the time too break out of my shell and join this fine web site. I've spent the last few days going through different threads and reading some really great posts. I hope to join in the fun as well.

After seeing the A&A HC as their latest choice, I have to wonder if Eternal Warrior will be next.SolarGod wrote:I'm hoping a Shadowman HC is next

I'll have to look, but I might have some Shadowman stuff to send you. I'm a HUGE Shadowman fan (I even have a tattoo of the symbol). I think it's the only book that got better after Shooter left. (I'm in no way implying that it got better because Shooter left.) Bob Hall came on board about that time and really gave the title life and, in my opinion, it's the only title that stayed terrific all the way through to the last issue.SolarGod wrote:I'm hoping a Shadowman HC is next
I used to hoard Shadowman stuff, but I've already given away most of my extras. I'll try to look tonight and see what I've still got.

I love Bob Hall's Shadowman 0 cover ... one of my favs. I cant believe that i didnt read it whel I was younger , I really like the southern flavour of the books i've read. Issue number 8 really got hooked , its really creepy and violent. I'm very much looking forward too reading the rest. Glad too hear that it gets better also.
