Top games for the NDS

Post by iccarus »

We have a DS that just hasn't been getting much use lately. I'd like to change that, but would like some input from others.

What do you see as the top games for the system that are must haves? We already have Phantom Hourglass and New Super Mario Bros.

I think the Babysitting game looks freakin' AWESOME. That and the "Wedding Planner" one is REALLY making me want a DS!

Theme Park - same as the old days and still great fun.
Advance Wars - really well put together strategy.
and my personal favourite....

Animal Crossing: Wild World - The cutest and most pointless game ever! Not a bad thing at all, you just may lose alot of your life looking for that perfect piece of furniture...

Sounds like a day shopping with a significant other of the female persuasion.

Do not buy Animal Crossing or Tetris.

These games are more addictive than crack.

One game that I played the fool out of was Puzzle Quest. The Advance Wars games are pretty cool, too.

Thanks for the suggestions! The new FF game was already on my list of games to get. I loved the old SNES version, but sold it years ago.

This one is complete with very nice cutscenes, for the DS, a sweet opening and voice over work. It's also a VERY hard edition. And things have been given an overhaul. Lots of neat twists on old, familiar sights. It is a worthy purchase :thumb:

When it first came out on the SNES-and it was released HERE as FF2, on that platform-I spent the better part of a summer mastering it. I will always have a special place in my gaming heart & mind for this one. The DS version was VERY difficult at times and that kept me at it longer than anticipated. You aren't kidding about the length of this one :thumb:
