You had to cut the coupons out of Magnus #1-#8 and send them in to Valiant in order to get your Magnus #0 with the special BWS card insert. The book without the card was put out as a retailer incentive.
Thanks for the info. It's been so long I don't remember how I got mine. I have a feeling I probably cut the coupons out which means I have some incomplete Magnus' I'll have to check the book when I get home and see what I got. I think I have a couple of 'em

the non-card is rarer-but if yours has the card, down remove it just to make it more valuable!
Actually, the verson with the card is more valuable. You had to send the coupons from Magnus 1-8 to get the Magnus 0 with the card. magnus 0 without the card was made available to retailers in limited numbers.
We've had conversations in the past about which book "should be" more valuable. The retailer version does have a smaller print run, but a lot of folks seem to want the card. Of course if the retailer book ever became a lot more valuable, I suppose it would be easy enough to turn it into a retailer version.....

That was the consensus. The non-card version is reported to be rarer, but you can 'make' one by removing the card from a send-a-way version. Why would you do that?
The Magnus 0 copies with card are notoriously more difficult to obtain in ultra-high grade than are the copies without card. This is the 'no card' version. It is not too difficult to get in high grade.
This book's calling card is that it is the ONLY pre-Unity book graded above 9.8. That matters to some... Others couldn't care less... Depends on what you like to collect.
