DC/Marvel Penguins for sale at Big Apple show
Moderators: Daniel Jackson, greg
I was thinking about that, however I wanted each of the new owners to be the first ones to touch them (besides Sean)
I had envisioned a chess board with Penguins on it.
Not too mention my wife lost our digital camera and we're waiting till Christmas to purchase another.
Sean did mention if you had any problems with them such as defects to let him know. In the mean time however, I did open the box top and take a peek to ensure there were no broken pieces.

Glad to see you had a good time, despite a mediocre show. And meeting people from this board has always been a good thing, as far as I've seen.mjm00014 wrote:Update: Met with Sean today and have the penquins in my possession. Will hopefully get these out to you on Monday, but it might be Tuesday due to some car trouble.![]()
Also got to meet Rufus and Brother J who seem like very cool guys. Sorry I couldn't hang around tonight, but NY was just a day trip from CT and my friends needed to get home to take care of the kids. Still, a pleasure meeting you guys.
My opinion on the show: Terrible. Sean was surprised I only spent a half day there, but it was closer to a $10 show than the $20 they charged.
Good news is the Javitt center show is in Feb this year

Awesome Guys
I'm a believer in Karma, yesterday I was able to find one of three last books I needed to finish my VH One set (minus non price variant newsstands).
I'll also add that I haven't been the most pleasant person my whole life. My job in financial services is stressful and often that plays out in my social life. I used this penguin roundup as a turning point in my life to start being nicer to those around me and really take in the true meaning of life.
The following story really touched me, if you have 5 minutes I highly recommend that you read it. It's about Bear Bryant for those that have interest in football and how it pays to be nice.

You have to meet with Sean Chen at a con to get the non-VALIANT penguins (and tell him in advance which ones to bring.)BlackKnight wrote:I'd like to get a couple of these as well,.. if they are to be avalible in the future. Fantastic Work. Very Neat.
