Missed the boat
I was born in '88, so when Valiant comics started out I could barely read. Its not surprising that instead of reading these comics I was out being a typical child. In fact it wasn't until fall of this year (2008) that I even become aware of the companies existance. I had just moved into a new town with a couple of friends of mine. One of them was into sandman comics so I went with her to a local hobby shop. I figured I'd look through the cheap bins and pick out something at random. Worse comes to worse I lose 50 cents right? Well I am so glad I ended up buying a X-O Manowar comic, for it opened my eyes to a whole new world. Valiant offered what I had never seen in comics before, interacting stories between characters of differnt titles. Now I am on my way to amasing a large valiant collection, and I've never looked back.

Glad you went to the store that day.
You will find plenty of mad conversation here all things Valiant and quite alot of other poop too.

I trade as Dead Universe Comics in the UK, which is no surprise to those who know of my legendary Dead Universe habit.

there are several tpb's that you can pick up for relatively cheap to read some more great stories!

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
