Again, I'm an "actions over words" kinda guy. No sense in riling up the masses when other tactics seem to have prevailed, right?

You know, we've heard NOTHING on the boards, from Dino, since the 25th of September. I looked it up. This does not bode well.

He e-mailed me on Oct 27th. Hopefully they are just busy trying to make it happen for us.

I've never perceived the speculation as "trying to rile things up" to be honest. We discuss matters like this all of time, it's what we do here. It's actually the lack of info that is causing some people to be frustrated, not the speculating. If VEI chooses not let us know what is going on, then they have to expect people to wonder why.

Well said. :thumb:

They have the right, which they've elected, to not tell us a damn thing. I'm good with that, but we've got the right to wonder what's going on.

Indeed, but there’s a balance as I think many here are not so confident in the company’s future because of the lack of communication. I for one stopped talking about the new Valiant with guys at my LCS months ago.

Yeah, I haven't either since the Harby HC. I don't want to pimp a product that is late or might not even come out. Then I'd look like the asseclowne.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

It was weird but I really enjoyed it in a sadistic way. I remember it vividly and it's been years since I read it.

I will always have a different definition of "buying a ticket" from now on, that's for sure.

The speculation wasn't riling up, I agree. However, even if VEI could share the reasons for the delay with its fans, doing so would have served little purpose BEYOND riling up things. That's what I was saying. Whatever the reason, we fans obviously had no influence over or impact on it. So, undoubtedly, some might have gotten riled up over something that, ultimately, wasn't worth the rile. So to speak.

I was on hiatus when Dinesh was participating here, pre-VEI. That's regrettable, as I definitely missed out on some good posts/discussion. But my relationship is different, as a result. To me, Dinesh is The Man, running a large business and acting as a business professional. He's not one of my peers suddenly elevated to Corporate status as he is for many of the long-tenured posters on these-here boards. I'm fine with the silence, because we're still getting results. :thumb:

Dinesh the businessman will most likely be unable to discuss things as Dinesh the friend once did. And that has to be hard for some.

HA! The show may be ridiculous, but Eric (Mystery) is an interesting guy, even if he is over the top in regard to theatrics. I've met him, and I've hung out briefly with J-Dawg, one of his "wings" from the first season. J-Dawg is a cool guy.
