That's a lot of cards for the price, might be good for a table top project, lay them all down and coat with some clear epoxy resin or lay a clear sheet of perspex over them. Also good to have, to practice your dealing skills without ruining quality cards. :thumb:

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I'm watching it. And at the right price I might bite. I'm more in it for the non-Deathmate cards included.

I read the auction again and it's actually 25 Deathmate boxes (19 unopened, 6 opened), 2 Dark Dominon, 1 Warriors of Plasm, and a bunch of Savage Dragon packs.

At first I thought it "just" 19 boxes of Deathmate.

I wonder if his $8 S&H will cover all these cards. I didn't know that you can ship trading cards using Media Mail?? :?

I send comics via MM all the time - I print out the shipping label at home, and my packages have NEVER been opened at either my PO or the receiving one.

:hm: Would make an interesting project. And, with that many boxes, you'd be sure to get more than one set of the inserts too.

Yeah, the comics may have been awful, but the cards are actually pretty nice. Not nice enough to get stuck with 19 boxes, but nice.....

the other stuff in that auction is worth the starting price, imo-i'm just not able to pull the trigger on anything these days-otherwise i would. i like opening packs of cards, and putting together sets and i'd love to complete my chase card set that way-pretty sure 19 boxes would cover it!

19 unopened boxes sounds to me like a fun date night with the wife.

She loves opening boxes of trading cards like the proverbial fat kid loves cake. Old cards, new cards, whatever. She loves it. I have to defend my unopened boxes of cards sometimes.

I mean, I've already got one unopened box of Deathmate cards, but I want to have one unopened. I've got a complete set already outside that box (props to slym) but I don't have any chase cards.
