Good for you, i really wanted a couple of those but wouldn't pay the BIN...i initially put $200 offers on the shadowman and acclaim and was thinking about raising them if there wasn't much interest. I figure the 1k on the BS plat wouldn't get accepted but there's no way in hell i'm going anywhere near the BIN, that's total insanity (no offense DA).
WOW . . . I'm actually really glad I picked up my 9.6 B-SPLAT for $1,100. It's funny, on those books you really really want, sometimes cost doesn't matter, except when your eating ramen for a year to make up for it.
Congrats DA

Is $5,500 the most paid for a Valiant comic?

Oh *SQUEE* yeah, complete sets with all VVSS/Unity TPBs minus BS plat don't go for half that price....i'm not an expert at all on comics but if i were to plop down 5k on a comic it sure as hell wouldn't be this.

Yeah, I am very sad to see this go but sometimes in life we have to make hard decisions and this was one of the toughest.

Sorry to see you have to part with it DA, but i'm glad you got a nice sum for it. It's better to not have to be in a hard situation of course, but i hope this helps.
