Hey Guys...

I need to know when, all you guys who are coming, will be there...

I am going to setup a panel and a signing table for Jim...He may only come 1 day and not too long...so I need to discuss with him the day and hours...

I would like for everyone coming to be able to meet with him...

Janet and I should be there all 3 days....

Please let me know asap....

man, I had already planned on NOT going because I didn't think there wasn't going to be a panel this year. :!:

I might have to change that now, but I don't see me staying overnight in NYC with the price of hotel rooms. I wonder if it would be easy enough to take the train in the morning and then back home at night? Anyone ever do something like this?

Once you decide what day the panel would be, let me know as soon as you can.

The panel will be on Jim's work within the Comic Industry...not a valiant fans panel...

either way I'll post the day asap...

oooh, ok, well, that would still be pretty cool, plus I'm sure he'll have a lot to say about the companies he started up. Maybe I could ask him what he thinks about what John Byrne did to the Star Brand book after he left. :hm:

I've been to the last couple of National's and the price of Hotel room are usually an issue, and the Penn is usually as reasonable as anyplace in the city. Unfortunately it is the beginning of the "Christmas in NY" season and just a few days before the Macy's parade. It's kinda cool to be there as all the winter stuff NY is famous for has pretty much begun like skating in Rock Center and Bryant Park, and needless to say, shopping at the unique stores in Times Square and 5th ave.

Unfortunately I will be in Florida on vacation that week, but I am going to the Javitz show in early Feb.

Marriot points come in handy if you've got em. Also, it's a lot cheaper to stay outside the city and take public trans in, John (svair) or Bill (Woog) may have some ideas on this.

Good luck on the room searches.

So I'm kinda excited. I haven't been to NY since New Year's 2000 (yeah. It was one of those "things to do before I die" things.)

Do you all get together for dinner or something...?

I'm looking forward to it.

I just dunno how to get from Islip to Manhattan. :)

Janet and I will be at the show all 3 days...
Jim will be there from 12-6 on saturday...not sure about dinner arrangements yet...

Mike McGuire will be there on saturday, Mike Cavallaro I believe saturday also wandering...

Anthony is unable to attend due to prior commitments
