Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

wow, that's dirt cheap. I'm thinking the fact that he listed it as CCG and not CGC might have had something to do with it. He also didn't mention Valiant in the title or description. Also, some might have been wary of the "stains" on it. :o

Yeah, I was a little cautious about the stains comment also, but for $10.49 I thought it was worth taking a chance on.

Yes, the Unity #0 that arrived was a Red, the Bloodshot #0 was a VVSS and the Armorines #0 was the "stand alone" version.
I'm surprised you got those at those prices, I've been checking his listings and the prices are crazy. Congrats on some great buys though. :thumb:

Yep, those are tough ones, so that's a smoking deal. I wasn't even sure if I had them until I just double checked my collection. Yep, I have them both! :D

Thanks, yeah, in general this guy's prices are out of line. He sells a lot of signed books. Quite a few of them are just regular comics that were signed at a show with no COA and his price is still high.

I have to give him some credit, though. His communications and the amount of time you have to wait are great. The night I bought these he and I sent several messages via the eBay system and he always responded quickly. In fact, he has a person who lists the books for him and he told the guy to specifically list a bunch more Valiant stuff since I was watching. Unfortunately, it was all overpriced stuff.

went to the LCS today, was hoping to pick up a pack of magazine bags and possibly some new books. They had no packs of mag bags and no new books that I was interested in. However, I did rescue the following from their 25 cent boxes:

Magnus #1-8, all in high grade with complete card sheets.
Magnus #42-53, again, all in pretty good shape. They had issues before these, but I decided I only wanted the post-Chaos Effect issues.
Ninjak #26 (another copy to add to my small hoard).
