Wizard World Texas Nov 7 - 9

Looks like my wife (by that time) and I will be in attendance.

It will be the end of our honeymoon, we're getting married on the 1st and going to (presumably) New Orleans and hitting Dallas on the way home.

Anybody else headed that way?

What path are you taking to (or from) New Orleans? If you take I-20 to Shreveport, then I-49 south from there, I'm in Alexandria. Stop by and say hi!

I was wanting to go to Shreveport.

North of I-10 is a lot like East Texas where I grew up. South of I-10... well... have you seen The Waterboy? They nailed it.

Yep, Texas only-in-name. It gets kind of weird out east. It's really strange in CenTex, home of the Koffee Kup Kafe, it is a real place that is actually in business and has been for many years.

Hey, now! I'm "from" East Texas!

I was actually born in Baytown (outside Houston), but from age 5 to 15 lived in North East Texas in the Carthage/Longview/Marshall area. Good country with good people!
