Unity #'s 0 & 1 - 10 copies of each in NM/M.
Trying to get rid of some of my recent auction wins of valiants.
I'm willing to let these go at 1/2 Valiant.com Guide Price plus $3 shipping no matter how many you order. Each is bagged & boarded and ready for grading. PAYPAL only. PM with offer.

Hi, I'm always happy to post a reply!
First, Greg's price list includes shipping cost. So your offer of 1/2 price PLUS shipping of $3.00 for these particular books is actually at or over guide. So, not a deal at all really.
Second, the guide price of $5 for Unity 0 is a fantasy. The book was free when it was released and there were tons of copies available for anyone who wanted one. You won't find many takers at $5.50 per here or anywhere else. Just give that one up, it's not gonna happen.
Third, the guide price of $4 for Unity 1 may be about right, $1.50 for the book and $2.50 for shipping, maybe. But again, tons of these were printed and I would figure that virtually no one on here needs one for that price.

Yes, some of the guide prices should be understood as:
"When it sells by itself in near mint on Ebay, it costs $X including shipping."
For some books, the key phrase may be "When it sellls"
"When it sells"... as in, sometimes (maybe even often) it doesn't get any bids.
Unity #0 and Unity #1 are good examples of this scenario...
You can usually find someone listing them for $1 or $2 with $3 to $4 shipping...
So... "when they sell" they sell for around $4 to $5 including shipping.
When they don't sell... they don't sell.
I do like the $3 shipping regardless of quantity, though...
The "cost per book" can be significantly less if someone buys lots of books,
so it would be a lot closer to 1/2 guide (even including shipping) in that scenario.

Thanks Greg. I now know a little more about your site. Preciate it!
I just got 20 of each of these off Ebay at about .50 ea including shipping. They are unbagged, so I am bag/boarding them. When I ship any single comic, it's usually $1.42 Media Mail, and up to 6 fit in the board type mailer. The mailer costs about .30 when bought in bulk.
I saw someone offering comics FREE on here but @ $1 shipping. They must be mailing the books in plain envelope at 1st class rate of .60 cents. I would never do that to a book, no matter how cheap it was. How can they make anything like that?
I'm willing to take offers for these. Have to get rid of them. Postage is pretty firm.

I don't know who that was, but they were probably just trying get rid of them. I think we all pretty much prefer to spend a little more on shipping and having the book arrive safely.YourPlace2 wrote: I saw someone offering comics FREE on here but @ $1 shipping. As far as these particular books, I'm pretty sure most of us around here already have them. I pass them up in the LCS for $.33. You might do better if you tried to sell them as groups on e-bay??
With the lower priced books in the guide, as others said, you kind of have to take those listings with a grain of salt. It can be hit or miss with sales.

Maybe that's were I got all my Turok #1's from.Daniel Jackson wrote:Over the years I have had quite a few sellers give both Unity #0 & #1 as freebies with my purchase. I have also had them use Turok #1's on both sides my comic order to protect the rest of the books.
