yeah, I got alot of mine from mycomicshop. they have more if you look at their wesite. , www.mycomicshop.com , I don't know how many more they have though. If you are looking for the previews that it is in, it is the June 1993 issue . it is good to find them because alot of them have an autographed copy of Plasm #0 signed by jim Shooter . I know Plasm #0 sucks but at least it is signed by the Man , Jim Shooter.

I am waiting for a code before I do any shopping there. May not have to do any shopping there depending on your prices. Much rather do business here.

Sorry , You know, I have heard that alot in the last couple of days. Inkinc got me quite a bit. that man spends CRAZY money on books.

After a while I just started bidding him up just so he would pay more for the books. I swear, he would spend $75 on a Dr. Mirage gold . I would bid him up then buy one from someone else's BIN for $15 . Guys Crazy!!

And if your reading INKinc, damn right it's true.!!

I did pay a little much for some of the books I bought, but hey. I needed them to complete my sets of Valiants. I was getting the commons for so cheap that I could afford a little extra on the missing books.

Trust me it all evened out in the end.

I tried emailing warden2353 and asked him if we could work together to keep the prices down but he would never respond to me. he just kept bidding me up.

I don't know which one of you is Warden2353, but man, you should have worked with me. we both would have spent alot less.

Unfortunately that was most definitely the wrong time for me to decide to start collecting Golds. Like I said no harm done (except for the wallet). Between the three of you guys (INKinc, Warden2353 and of course you) prices did go through the roof. It took me a long time to get most of those books because I always thought I'll get my chance to buy one the next time. Ink.inc for some odd reason would bid on the same books he won, over and over again.

Today those prices are nowhere near what they were back then. (Back then being the beginning of summer!) You'll find this forum is better place to buy those books and any other for that matter. Thank God I finished up collect Y the Last Man before the movie comes out, that could be another bidding war waiting to happen. :thumb:

I think there was a one-page Punx ad in the format of a comic book page. Not contributing to any story or anything.

/Magnus
It's a 5-page "Special Advertising Section," with a 4-page story (acknowledged in-tale as Giffen trying to "recycle [his] unused pages"). When I can get access to a scanner, I'll scan & post 'em here.

Giffen's own recap, in-tale:
"They blew it big-time on this one! Five pages of hype in that...whaddayacallit...y'know, that Wizzer thing! And what do ya figger they do with it, eh?

"Two broads whinin' about a set'a falsies and some jerkweed bein' yanked around by his nuts!

"Where's the random violence? Th' big guns, th' knee deep piles'a shell casings!?"
And then Solar is at the bottom of the final page, talking on the phone and arguing about crossing over with PunX, because "[he's] got Jurgens..."

AND there's a fake price guide listing for:

PUNX (Spotlight on Aztlan)
1 TMc That tubby girl from Harbinger..............52.75

I found 5 issues of Wizard in a quarter box and got 'em just because. No other "huge" surprises like this one. Yet.

And some other issue (#45?) had this card inserted in it, as a Birthquake hype piece, I guess...

I've said it before and I'll say it again. PUNX makes me laugh. I don't think I've ever seen that wizard section before but it's funny stuff. Thanks for sharing.

I laugh myself silly whenever I read PunX. But then, I actually am a huge fan of Giffen's VALIANT work.

President, Sergeant-at-Arms and ALL the club members, rolled up into one!
