Since he's not hand-delivering them to every shop in the country, jedimarley wrote:I could care less. All I want to know is it coming out next week or not. Simple question.greg wrote:Then what?jedimarley wrote:Sooner or later dino will respond to me even if it's to tell me to STFU.
I'm not sure you're having the impact on anyone that you think you are.
Next week. Yes? Or no?
How hard is that?
and since he said "hopefully next week", what more do you want?
The name of the driver of the truck?

You mean to tell me that the owner of a multi-million dollar company does not know when it's next scheduled delivery is?greg wrote:Since he's not hand-delivering them to every shop in the country, jedimarley wrote:I could care less. Come on Greg.........
Next week. Yes? Or no?
It's easy. Frank? Will you be working on my house next week? Yes. Frank? Will you be working on my house next week? No.
See? Easy.
And, yes. I do own a multi-million dollar company.

Your example is one where YOU are in control.jedimarley wrote:You mean to tell me that the owner of a multi-million dollar company does not know when it's next scheduled delivery is?greg wrote:Since he's not hand-delivering them to every shop in the country, jedimarley wrote:I could care less. The question here is not the same thing... Dino isn't driving the truck.
A better example would be:
Frank, will the replacement supplies that you ordered from the factory that makes them
be delivered to hundreds of locations on the exact day you expect them, or might they be late?
Come on, Frank, it's an easy question. Yes or no?

have you no shame?greg wrote:Inevitable questions... how many error copies are there, and how do we get them?dino wrote:Guys, here is the update. The book is done. The manufacturer printed a few pages incorrectly (the registration on these pages was off causing the pages to print slightly blurred). We had the manufacturer correct this, so there was a slight delay from their end. The book is now corrected, in hand, and looking great. There was a good chance it would make it out to stores today but the manufacturer narrowly missed this week's shipment deadline. They will be in stores shortly. Can't wait for you guys to see the new story and Jim's interview!

What we need is innovation and even revolution—but not so much in the form of marketing ploys and doohickeys. What is needed is bold creative vision, excellent stories, and brilliant storytelling, in a word, entertainment. -- Jim Shooter

I doubt they control the shippers. Any reason you have your panties in a bunch over this, or just can't overlook any opening to bust dino's chops?jedimarley wrote:So? Is it Hopefully next week or is it Definitely next week?

translation: Production is done, they are at the shipper now. If you want an ETA contact the distributor, the rest of this is out of VEI's hands.dino wrote:The books are currently with the distributor. Diamond tends to be quicker at getting books to the East coast than the West coast. However, I am confident they will be in stores in next.
