Is it getting HTF? I guess that's cool... say, also keep your eyes out on the "Sojourn Collected Edition" which is rumoured to have a print run near 1200.

:D

Sojourn #1 always seemed to go for a good price, so I probably wouldn't consider it common as dave called it. You should be able to find it for less than $10, though.

For some reason, I doubt that print run on the Sojourn collected edition. I guess it's possible, but I know a few board members have huge hoards of that book, so it's seems unlikely that it is rarer than Armorines V2 #4 or something like that.

I actually need a Sojourn #1. I have a collected edition, but I am hoping to get a #1 today. :D

Sounds like some of the CG books could be the next Acclaim, in terms of difficulty of acquisition.

I can consistently find Sojourn #1 fairly consistently.

I don;t know what it's worth but have multiple copies. I plan on listing some books for sale within the next day, if there's interest... I will pull them out and offer them as well.

I believe that that is the Diamond order for that book, just over 1200. I'm not sure how many were actually printed, but it would seem to be very low...

I need to go find out where I heard that.....

Smashey had a huge, huge pile of those collected editions. It was a pic that had at least a 100, maybe more. Ask him, he posted a link a while ago to the Crossgen print runs.

i called it "common" not just common, because it's not a (supposedly) rare edition like a valiant gold book or other short print book...

i've found FOUR armorines v2 #4's....ended up selling all of them to board memeber sound of the universe...but i've never SEEN a sojourn #1 in a store....weird.

When I see the word common used for a comic book, I tend to think of 90's overprinted books.

Sojourn: CE was probably the third CG book that I ever got and I didn't even have an interest in CG it just showed up in a group of books. I now have two without trying, I can't possibly believe that it is that rare.

All I know is Sojourn #1 seems much tougher to get than the collected edition. I could buy the collected edition all day from Mile High and Lone Star for less than $3 a pop.

Nah, I'm not trying to bust your hump on this, I know we've heard the print run thing before, which is why Smashey was stocking up on these.

I know - it was just sorta funny that every time I looked in here it was another post about how the CE isn't..... so I had to be a little self-deprecating.

It was something that came out not long ago in the Crossgen sticky, also. It happened while you were on walkabout.

Couldn't find it either. There have been some changes over there so maybe it went away.

I saw a stack of about 30 at a flea market one time.

One out of that stack would be the one you mentioned.

I do remember hearing there was a second print with a greater print run than the first.
