Ok, let's brag a little. I always love to talk about collecting. I have people come to the house to visit and I always show them some of my comic book stuff. Some get it, some don't.
Everyone here can appreciate your collection! What is the ONE item either comic book, or comic-book related, that you ALWAYS brag about owning? It can be Valiant or not.
Let the WOWing begin!

Mine would have to be a prop from the movie "THE PUNISHER" with Tom Jane.
If you've seen the movie, at the end, after he kills Robert Saint (Travolta), he goes back to his apartment, drinks a bottle of whiskey and stares at his family photo.
It's all folded and torn and has the words "Thanksgiving 1999" written in ink on the back. I can always throw in the DVD and show people the scene. Good times.

Went to a launching of the Batman Master Series card set at Le Bar Bat in NYC (back in the mid 90s). They gave away full sets with all the inserts. I won a door prize of an uncut sheet with 5 full sets of the inserts. They gave away all the decoration props. I framed and made sure the matting covers the writing that says (and I paraphrase): "It is illegal to own this. Please call (Skybox or Fleer - don't remember which one) at 800 xxx xxxx to report if someone has it.
Not sure it is worth much but it is one of a kind AND illegal

Started at the genesis - had to come back
Nexus was a cool book. Do they still print it?
Batman Master Series - AWESOME set of cards! I love that you got the display pieces!
As for Stan Lee, I had the chance to meet him as well about 10 years ago, but I never had anything half as sweet as an X-MEN #4! Wonder what a Lee/Kirby signature would be worth on a book like that>?

Does my whole Spidey collection count as ONE thing?
I guess I'd have to go with my Amazing Spider-Man #6

I lucked out. Absolutely lucked out. I think I have 10 copies of the #2...prismra wrote:ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote: So, I gotta say....my collection of absurdly rare variants (Tick #2 uncut, Maxx #2 & #3 black ashcans, etc.)

You son-of-a-biatch! I've been looking for those damn Maxx black ashcans for EVER!![]()
<Napolean's Voice> Lucky!!!! </Napolean's Voice>
Unfortunately....Image/Sam/Whoever didn't take care of them and they are ALL F/VF.
But still...50 copy print runs...I only have 1 copy of #3, but I'm going to use the #2's for trade fodder for a black #1 (don't have a yellow or black),,and yes, I am VERY serious about trading one of them for a CEAR.
The reds...the REDS....which are limited to 1500 (or, 30 times more common) are $10-$15 on eBay...so..by the logic, the blacks should be 30 times more valuable...or $300-$450 each.

They're definitely the only Image ashcans worth anything.

The memory of driveing around in the back of a limo with Jim Calafoire, Jorge Gonzalez & Jennifer Maldanado all day.
Then being invited out to dinner with them + Bob Hall, Tom Ryder, Bernard Chang & Paul Fairchild( Valiant payed ).
Then being invited up to New York to hang out at the Valiant offices with everyone.
Some of the nicest people I have ever met.
