OK.
Originally, I had passed on this and several of you guys said I was "hating on Valiant" for not buying this. I had stated that $24.95 for quarter bin reprints was unwarranted, especially when you look at the economy and $4.50 gallon of gas. But the new material and Shooter stuff is something I just cant pass up now. Dino went for the jugular vein when he dumped in the Shooter material.
I believe I see a pattern of flexibility from VEI now and this will help them survive in the current market.
A&A hardcover = no sale
A&A hardcover with Shooter extras---2x$24.95.
Good sales job, you got me. I can't wait now...

I don't know how much longer they will take pre-orders, so you might want to hurry before it's no longer available at this price. I ordered two and the shipping was $5.95.

I got my order in late wednesday and they honored it, so you still might be able to pre-order. They haven't updated their site for the August Previews last time I checked, so you should be able to get an order in. They are really good about late orders, from what I have heard.Daniel Jackson wrote:$13.72 at DCBSUnknownTales wrote:OK.

I've ordered from them quite a few times now and the books are well packaged and they actually answer customer service emails (unlike Mile High).Rufusharley wrote:No. First time.Daniel Jackson wrote:Rufusharley wrote:I just made it i guess. You mean what we've been told isn't true?
An alternate ending?
You mean something other than what's on the page might be the real story?
I think ManofTheAtom's head just exploded.
All those people hated Aram, but how and under what circumstances did they come together to form the Sect, the single unit group that Mahmud was a part of in the 20th Century? MAYBE that is what this story will explore, maybe not.Simultaneously, across the land, Brother Nicholas and the Sect vowed to never rest until they destroyed the demon, Saladin vowed to never rest until he drove out the infidels from the holy land, Richard cursed Aram for brawling with the Knights Templar, and King Phillip blamed Aram of ruining his plans.

Discount Comic Book Store has already billed me for my Archer & Armstrong preorder. What’s up with that? I can understand maybe a week out, but then most places won’t bill you until the item is ready to ship.
Great news on the extras though—will be a nice addition to my library when it does come in. Looks like with each release VE raises the bar.

Sorry Sanman, I've been using DCBS for about 3 years, and their standard practice is to charge the credit card around the same time they put up the next solicitations. I've just gotten used to it, as I know the books will come to me in excellent condition, and their discount is truly terrific.sanman wrote:Discount Comic Book Store has already billed me for my Archer & Armstrong preorder.
