If you gave Aric hugs and kisses, would it be XOXO X-O?

I read part of it and it's quite good and quite complex.

It was one of the few titles that I actually looked forward too every month and I really did enjoy reading it.
When I was forced to stop reading comics it was one of the 4 titles that I really miss buying monthly and reading (the others were The Fallen Angel, Nobles Causes, and the various Transformers mini-series and one-shots that IDW published). However now of days I don't have the energy to go looking for back issues or even trades of it.

I would recommend the three trades that are out. The storyline is excellent. The art's a little so-so, but if you like a good read then pick it up. I think I saw it being solicited as a monthly again.

The art by Eric J in the early issues is great. IMHO he could easily be the next John Cassidey or Bryan Hitch.

The backgrounds are phenomenal, but he needs to work on the details of people's faces. All the faces look the same.

I read the first series and I'd highly recommend it! Haven't gotten around to reading volume II yet. I had heard rumors of a movie being bandied about with Johnny Depp.

That fits him, but I don't see a studio buying into this as there are to many similiarities between it and The Da Vinci Code (even though Rex Mundi was published way before it).
