Listened to it today, very good, made me wish I was there,

I especially liked "the artist from Mad, starts with a J...Don Martin"

I assume you were thinking Al Jaffee for a second there, ZWH?

BTW...Couldn't Valiant still use Torque and the Destroyer (or deathmate Solar) to replace the Magnus and Solar characters.

I did that a few weeks back with the OTV site, not a fun task at all.

just listened to it, fun as always and enjoyable.

I will disagree with Chiclo's opinion on who might feel "betrayed" if Magnus and Dr. Solar were published by Dark Horse. I even have a quote to prove it:

Quote from another board, posted May 21st, well before the Magnus and Dr. Solar to Dark Horse news was known:
I don't know why Dark Horse doesn't hire Shooter to write Solar & Magnus and then acquire the rights to publish them alongside Dark Dominion & Broadway characters. Only VEI fans would protest Shooter working on the characters he defined.

Q
Not surprising, since he generally feels anything Valiant post-Shooter has no redeeming value.

Anyway, that's my attempt at a defense of someone who would probably never listen to the podcast, anyway.

Did you know - the Blob, nemesis to the X-Men, is from Lubbock?

So, the Blob and Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks are the most famous people from Lubbock...

Natalie Maines - probably overkill.

The Blob - he got de-powered on M-Day so he's just a regular fat guy with a lot of loose skin, so yes.

PS - I am not from Lubbock. I was bourne there but that's just because that was the nearest hospital when I lived in Earth. TKW came from Lubbock before he moved to Vegas.

Ah, yes. The .577 Tyrranosaur. For the man who wants to show anybody that ever laughed at him in the locker room that he means business. At least ones that don't want to bother with a .700 Nitro Express. Both are quite overkill, even for Cape Buffalo.

My friend Jay went to gunsmithing school in Oklahoma. One of his classmates built a 20 mm rifle (.80 cal, roughly) out of scrap. The bolt handle was a pair of vice grips that he had welded onto the bolt. I forget the details on the barrel, but it was scrap piping of some variety. Anyway, this erstwhile attempted murderer loads up this rifle and his buddies and heads on over to the "Oklahoma shooting range" (what we call a landfill around here) and ended up in jail for putting shrapnel in 5 of his best friends when that *SQUEE* blew up.

I'll see what happens for me. Are you downloading or using "save as?"

"Save as" worked for me.

Good seeing you around, stranger. :D :thumb:

Downloading. If I have probs again tomorrow night, I'll try "save as". That will probably work.

You aren't bothered by Natalie Maines but the Blob irritates you?
