My Version of X-O Manowar (Fixed now you can see the image)
I did this quite a few years ago. I love the design, but I've been meaning to update it so the art is cleaner and more dynamic.
This image was actually featured on the Bob Layton Site. Had it's own page. I thought that was Really Awesome. He commented about how he wished more readers and fans would send in art like that.
This is an idea I got from a Viking Warrior. Similar to Aric Dacia, but probably not as forgiving. I featured a Viking like X-O Helmit, with sort of a skull appearance. The armor itself is well plated and has many sharp protrusions that serve as extra defense from close range attackers. Also featured is a HUGE X-O Sword. One of Highly Destructive Power. THink of Legend of Zelda (The first Version where the sword can shoot beams) as well as built out of the X-O tough Metal.
I like the Colors in this X-O. Maybe he could be a story figure who finds another seed. Perhaps the Armor was producing two seeds, but one was bumped off prematurely so a new one started to grow. A viking warrior stumbles upon the seed which is near the Burial Site of book #11. Then discovers the seed devours somebody to create a new armor.
I can't help it. There is just soooo many things to do with X-O manowar. And so many things to make it better than Volume 2.
Check it out thought. It was fun to make.

Does anyone Know an easier way to make art full size?
I'm sorry. I have never been good with HTML stuff. If I could just attach an image directly, It would be easier.
I tried to fix it so the link would work. Let me know if it doesn't work still.
Or if anyone knows a better way I can add a pic, let me know too. Thanks

I don't know if that has anything to do with it? I always use www.photobucket.com to share my photos. The good thing about them is that after you upload the image, they give you the code to add it to different situations. The bad part is that the bandwidth runs out sometimes.Myspace wrote:This photo cannot be viewed because it has either been deleted or marked as private by the user.

Thanks, Photobucket Rocks
Myspace links are ... CRAP!!! Photobucket is my new hero for images. Thanks for the advice to go there. It Rocks!
Actually I didn't spend a lot of time on this image. I come up with Concept designs extremely fast. I have over 300 concept characters, I just draw draw draw. One day I had an idea for X-O and this is what came from it. I never really spend more than a couple hours on a design.
I need to improve my buildings and more dynamic poses. Those are the two area's I need to work on. Buildings to me are freaking hard as hell to draw. I need practice.
