I'm just a beginner at playing poker, but this was a good learning experience for me. It was actually tons of fun. :thumb: I wouldn't mind doing this more at home with a bunch of friends.

:atomic: Comics are like a Rorschach test, everyone has a different opinion on what they are and can be... :atomic:

I'd have offered good money to see that.
It's really not the big deal it's made out to be. Some of you make it sound like I have some weird phobia or something, but it's just a personal space issue. As both BTE and Dr. Solar can attest, I have no issues being in close proximity with others. :thumb:

I only have one real phobia, and it has nothing to do with touching....it has to do with getting thrown off balconies. :D

I don't freak out in close quarters situations, like busses and convention floors...I don't even think about it, unless it's a person I'd really rather not have anywhere near me (I do have creepy crawly issues with people who look like they haven't bathed in a week or so, or have other hygiene related issues, because I have a verrrry sensitive nose. Turns out Rufus does, too. When we were in the Tilted Kilt, we could both smell someone smoking clove cigarettes from OUTSIDE.)

It's a very Japanese approach to physical contact, I've discovered. If you tried to manhandle a Japanese businessman, you'd find yourself in a REALLLLLLY awkward position, REALLLLLY fast. However, if that Japanese businessman was also a close personal friend, there wouldn't likely be an issue.

You wanna touch the Zeph, you gottz ta earn it.

 (as if anybody wants to touch the Zeph in the first place) :thumb:

This is something, by the way, that a good many people think, but don't want to voice because they might be accused of having Assbooger's Syndrome or something...

I hope they showered, otherwise that room probably smelled of some serious funk.

Being adults with professional lives totally unrelated to comics, we all showered every day we were there, including Thursday when BTE and I didn't arrive until 4:30 PM (which means I showered twice that day.)

I cannot imagine why anyone would not.

We're not teenaged boys, after all.

That's good, since I live for comics, I make sure I come to any comic show smelling of fromunda cheese. It really attracts the ladies and keeps the fanboys from coming too close when I'm rooting through the bargain boxes. :thumb:

The first part is doubtful, the second part is not.

I'm sure it's not an issue for you.

Wish I could say the same for others.

But I cannot.

Other than the fake nachos, it was really, really good.

Deanna doesn't know what Bangers n' Mash is, though, even though it's on the menu....

But that's ok....she touched me enough to make up for it....and she had green eyes. Mmmm.

The tissues were there when I got there, so they belonged to the three guys that were sharing a bed together ( :P ). They would know what they were doing with themm, heh.
