I've always felt that the *Acclaim (1997 series)* Shadowman, while a marked departure from *VALIANT (1991-1996)*, was an excellent product, particularly 16-20 and all of v3.
yeah i agree, vol. 2 1-4 was great, the delano run was mostly miss, and the last few issues were gaining speed again. vol.3 was solid

I'm not a big fan of the early Vol. 2 Shadowman writing. It was just too gritty and dark for my liking. Personally, I like the books after issue #15 on up to the end of Acclaim.

I actually started reading V2 Shadowman yesterday. I think I read the 1st 4 issues. I am actually looking forwards to see what happens next.

It is a bit dark (like DJ said), and I am not necessarily a fan of that style of art.... but, I am intrested.

So far, pretty good.

I read the first issue of SM2 last week too. It was pretty good. IF anyone has some extra reading copies for sale let me know.

Are there any others? Quantum & Woody? etc?
How about Punx #4? I read Giffen has the art/script for the book. I don't really care what anyone else thinks, I thought this book was great.

The best part of Punx, for me, was the Faux ad...Bernard Chang's Bodacious *SQUEE* 8-)

On the issue of Punx. From Giffen's agent.
Mr. Giffen disposed of both the script and the art have long since been disposed of. SORRY.
So I guess that one's never going to happen. Why the hell would you dispose of it?

Meaning he threw it in the garbage? That seems like a stupid thing to do.

The story and artwork for Harbinger #42, 43, 44, and 45 exist.

It's the untold story of Faith's adventures with Jenny Craig.

It really bridges the gap between Harby #41 and Acclaim's Harbinger one shot.

Not me.

I thought the book showed what it would have been like if Image had put out Harbinger instead of Valiant.

Alright, I have to back Elveen on this one....I remember enjoying that one-shot back in the day. Zephyr really WAS hot. Then again, I may have been drunk or high at the time (nah, not really....I never mix recreational drugs with reading comics...after all, that's how IMPACT was created). 'Course I haven't read it in years and my tastes have matured :hm:

I'll agree with the part about Faith being a lot better looking, but the story was very disappointing.

It would have been intresting to see them do a Harbinger series. I though they had a good begining. Not great but good.

They were going to do a Harbinger mini series and a Dr Mirage VH 2 remake

Big fan of Stephen Strange. After the Incredible One, that was the 2nd comic title I ever picked up.
