My VALIANT Universe Movie Franchise Wishes
1) That HARBINGER Movie is faithful to the original material
2) That X-O Manowar can be produced as a feature film as well and is faithful to the source material.
3) That a Harbinger II movie can utilize Geoff McHenry the Geomancer and would help Peter connect with other allies like the Eternal Warrior and Shadowman against Harada and his army of Harbingers.
4) X-O Manowar II Movie would be a major battle with Lydia and the Spider-Aliens and would guest Peter the Harbinger, and the other heroes in an epic movie !

No, no... the powerful armored suit that X-O wears is alive, wraps around his body like a skin...Dr. Solar wrote:Yeah, I mean, one of them is a guy in a powerful armored suit, and the other is a guy in a powerful armored suit.ManofTheAtom wrote:Hardly. There's no way they'd compare it to Iron Man when they could compare it to VENOM Iron Man!

Hmmm... the "Extremis" process that Iron Man has used recently has turned his armor into a techno-organic device that responds directly to his thoughts. In other words, a suit of armor that is a mix of biology and technology, conforms to his body upon his will, and responds to his mental commands.greg wrote:No, no... the powerful armored suit that X-O wears is alive, wraps around his body like a skin...Dr. Solar wrote:Yeah, I mean, one of them is a guy in a powerful armored suit, and the other is a guy in a powerful armored suit.ManofTheAtom wrote:Hardly. Opening sequence: Space. A strange ship lands on a swampy planet, as several tall figures emerge from the ship. They seem to be looking for something. It is as if they are listening for a call. They stop in front of a tree and begin to...pray? Two large objects-are they seeds?-emerge from the trunk of the tree and are whisked aboard the ship, which is seen docking on a very different landscape. The seeds are taken to a chamber, where a spiderlike being is entangled on a mess of electronic wiring, much like a web. It nods as the others seem to salute the creature. Is it a willing sacrifice? There is a sound, another prayer and suddenly, a gash is visible on the creature's chest area. The seed is placed there. Almost immediatly, a grotesque tangle of wires emerges and envelops the creature. The other figures bow. When they stand up, there is a single orb, blue and gold. Sequence over.siren3-4 wrote:The mental images I have in my head of an X-O Movie is that whole opening sequence and the narration describing things from his point of view . . .
It is the greatest opening to a movie ever . . . I imagine it taking almost 20 minutes to do properly . . .
Next Scene: A man on earth, 5th century. A visigoth camp. He tells a boy to come and watch his father make a blade, but that it is not the weapon that makes the man. Rather, it is the man that makes the weapon. All of a sudden, there is trouble. Screams sound out from the distance. Romans have attacked the camp. The child races with his father towards a tent, where inside, they see two solidiers on top of a woman. MAMA! cries the boy. "silence that" says the one"I'm not finished with this one yet" and as he says that, the boy's father lunges. The boy then sees his father's head roll past him and watches in horror as his mother's throat is cut. Picking up the blade, he destroys both soldiers and leaves the tent.
Morning: A man on a horse finds the boy, chopping at a dead soldier. "Aric! Ho! It is I, your uncle Alaric. I would know you anywhere. Come, save your venom for real battles. We will purge our lands of this infestation soon enough. My army needs men like you"
Next scene: years later. Aric, now grown, is seen with a woman. Her name, we learn, is Dierdre. She says little, but has convinced Aric to give up his gods for hers, Lugh. They are obviously very much in love. One night, Aric is on a scouting mission when a strange ship appears on a hill. He pulls his party closer. That is when they see what they fear are demons, feasting on people in the moonlight. Aric charges but is captured. The ship takes off, leaving his men alone.
The creature's planet. A battle between two armored warriors. It ends quickly, as one simply keels over, twitching. The "victor" is called in to meet a very tall individual. This one shows her the Armor from earlier, and Aric. It speaks about how there is a need to diversify the gene pool and that Earth, where Aric is from, provides more than they ever imagined. The "victor" is known as Lydia and she undergoes surgery to look more human. She is given the task of infiltrating earth. A series of scenes shows her on earth, meeting a very rich man, sleeping with him and finally, draining him. A newspaper headline reads "Widow inherits Orb Enterprises"
Scene: One of the ships, orbiting Earth. Inside, Aric is slaving away. He barely contains his rage. A fellow prisoner offers to help him escape, and carves a map into his hand, promising that it will show him the way to a great weapon. Aric hurries along twisting paths, through the bowels of the ship, fighting off the spiders with only a club. Suddenly, a circular chamber appears. Within the chamber, he finds the armor from earlier. He notices a ring. He grabs it. He feels its weight and places it on his finger. The armor then lurches towards him and, realizing the armor responds to his thoughts, he blasts his way out of the ship. He sees another ship in the distance but it explodes. "Good" he thinks. "I want to go home"
How's that for a basic summary of how to get XO 0 & Rise Of Lydia on the screen? I know it's not perfect, but it's a start.

******Oooooooh. I'm getting goosebumps with that imagery

See? Thats the spirit ! If it's this exciting just imagining it, it would be so much more when its there...unfolding on the big screen!!
And it doesn't matter if some people say it reminds them of Iron Man. When I see Iron Man, it reminds me of our toaster at home

I mean, just because Elektra and the Catwoman movies failed, it doesn't mean they shouldn't produce Wonder Woman because its a movie about a female hero.
C'mon, this is WONDER WOMAN, the first Lady of Superheroines. In the same way, this is X-O Manowar!!
It didn't stop us Valiant fans from picking up his book because he's armored. X-O MANOWAR is just AWESOME!! (Spider-Aliens and Bionisaurs...in a live action movie. YAY!!) Thats my wish! But I am happy as it is with the prospect of seeing HARBINGER on the big screen.
I think that guy who played Indiana Jones' son in the 4th installment should play STING
