They were available 2 ways. Bagged with Magis the Gathering books & dealers were given some to give away for free.greg wrote:
Someone will probably know this for sure...
But I believe the Valiant Free-View books were included
with the bagged Acclaim "Magic: the Gathering" books (Armada).
I'm not sure which issues, though, because there are tons
of those Magic books.
This might explain why there were 2 printings.

I think it was one of the first three magic books they offered. I know about 1/2 of the magic books came bagged with something. Some had cards, one had antiquities markers, I know one had the free view. I will have to check to see if I still have them sealed.Steve G. wrote:I don't believe any of my Magic issues have the Free view issue, just free promo cards. Which issue was it? I also don't recall it being offered in an issue of Wizard. Again...which issue? I got a stack of 15 Free views from my comic dealer friend (who also collected Valiants). They are all 1st Prints.---Steve G
