It is by Toby Cypress. It kind of reminds me of those Ernie Colon work.

I don't particularly care the style of the artwork, but it's still nice to see people taking an interest in drawing Magnus.

I dig it as a piece of art, but as far as sequential art goes I wouldn't enjoy reading a whole book like that.

But as a single, stand-alone piece I think it's awesome.

Maybe not the art style we would normally associate with Magnus or even should be used in a comic but the energy and aspect ratio give the work a real cinematic feel. Regardless, cool to see someone thinking out the box on this one—it’s great.

I love Paul Pope art and this is no excption.

Read 100% (6 issue mini) or his issue of DC Solo, the guy is amazing.
