after asking in a thread if anyone had any and then trying to be sold them for inflated/crazy prices. Heath came up and mailed me out everything I was looking for from FCBD (I couldn't be at any shop that day as i was preparing for that nights NKF benefit I was putting on) for my soon to be 7 year old son, to aid in his reading through the summer...that was great, totally FREE and even sent Priority and packed them up tight!!!
Heath, Your a top notch guy
I like Heath. Top dude.

So, yeah, not that most of you don't know already....
But chainnball managed to convince Frank Frazetta (well...really, his wife Ellie)....to do a signing, and have it made into a CGC Signature Series.
He kept me in the loop the whole time, and I was very excited....I lived the event vicariously through him.
It was very cool on MY end, 3000 miles away.
I got a Vampirella #1 8.5 out of it signed by the Master.
Chain didn't have to include me; didn't even have to tell me. But he did, and he did, and it's something very, very few people got to take part in.
So, yeah, it's totally amazing, one of the most impressive coups in the comic book industry...the only one harder would be Ditko, maybe BWS.
Maybe. Right now, Chain is on the top of the mountain with regards to CGC and the community. He's the Golden Boy, indeed.
It was spendy....and worth every damn penny.
So, as I sit here in a Famous Sam's in Mesa, AZ, I lift my Mike's Hard Lemonade to Chain for including me in his nifty, historic, amazing thing.
And he's promised to "leave his cell phone open" so I can silently listen on the other side if he ever does another signing with Frank and Ellie.
So, yeah, Vampi #1 is one of those "fight over it when I'm dead" kinda books. It certainly ain't leaving my hands any time soon.
