Congrats Jay! You spanked me on that one. Looks like I'm gonna be relegated to the ho hum pages as I'm getting beat on the cool stuff. But they are still from Harbinger #1 and thats just fine with me!
Exactly! I just want 1 page. :hope: I don't care what page either. :)

You know as I go through all the issue#1 pages I don't see any ho hum pages. After reading the HC all of them just have that extra amount of power for me, all of them mean something and that's why Lapham is the man!
You are right! Ho hum,was the wrong choice of words. The whole book is important to no only to this Valiant universe but the hobby also.
Jay Tomio wrote:I almost wonder if Lapham is hurting himself selling multiple pages at once. I have to admit, I targeted this page, but I did on all of them, and if they weren't on the same day I would have gone stronger on some of the others.
I think he is selling them at the wrong time. This is such a slow time for Valiant art. It's all gonna come back in time. It is definitely a buyers market for this stuff!

;)

I just want one page, too.

Just one (there are three.)

They haven't been listed yet.

They're in the back of the book.

I hope I get one.

Just one.

That's all I want. :thumb:

Are you going to have him sign it? That would be cool to me. does it help or hurt the value?

I'm going to shoot them a message (not that I care about the signature but for gp)
paid for my page April 24th and I'm still waiting. From what I got from the couple times I e-mailed, I think they are waiting until their current batch of auctions are over before shipping.

Didn't get it? Was it the page that went for 5 bills last night?
I wanted page #20 or #24.

But the pages sold for more than I was willing to pay (about $300-$350)

Oh well, that's the way it goes. :(

I was trying to win these pages. I would have rather had them instead of Harbinger 1 pages.

Original Artwork for Pages 17, 18, 21, from HARBINGER #9 end price $415.65 (my bid $316.86 and there were 3 others between me and the high bid) This was won by a board member.

I've bought a number of pages from Renee and David in the past and they are very good to deal with. Sometimes it takes a bit longer to get pages from them, but I have never had a problem and they have always arrived in excellent condition. I think they also wait until their round of auctions are over to save folks money on shipping. Shoot Renee an email, I'm sure she would be glad to help in any way she can.

Best,

Jay

Is that really a lot?

When a copies of the book sell for $2500 I would think the original art would be a lot more than that.

I am truthfully shocked that some of these went for so low.

I've always been here, since way back when before the site crashed. I just don't post that much and when I do its almost always about Valiant art.

Yes, it's really a lot.

Last year, this time, the pages would have sold for $100-$200.

So, good for DL takin' advantage.

He was asking $13K I think for all 30 pages.

It looks like he got it.

Weird. I would think something one-of-a-kind and especially something like this would fetch more.
