Actually, this has always been another way I think they could get out of the "it's a dream" scenario yet KEEP it a dream. Everything from when Aric tried bonding with the armor in #65 through the final page of 68 was a nightmare induced by being connected to a now corrputed armor. He only THOUGHT everything was a vision of the future. Any takers?

Sure! It could be a necromantic dream, an illusion by Crescendo [who specialized in illusions] or any number of legitimate retcons. And I happened to like the Darque/X-O arc, so I'd buy this one...

The first one (Armed & Dangerous) is a link to the page, yeah. It's for the first four issues.

The second one is a direct link to the Kandi Kane one shot.

Darque can't die in 96 inside the armor. He dies in 99 with Shadowman :thumb:

That XO/Darque arc was Giffen's continual show of ignorance of the VALIANT Universe.

Why Valiant just stood back and let him ruin every title he was on is beyond me.

It is possible that while Giffen was working on the titles he wrote Nicieza and his friends were developing VH 2.

Since they were already planning to end VALIANT, it didn't really matter to them what Giffen did. Far as they were concerned Darque's death in 99 was no longer relevant since VALIANT was being replaced.

No I meant for all of them

The Wiki has

Past Tense – Part II
Experiencing Unity day 158 for the second time in his life, Aric Dacia flew through the skies of the Lost Land toward the Rainbow Tower in search of Mallik. Proclaiming that he enjoyed the first time he destroyed them and that their deaths would be no less painful a second time, Aric engaged Mothergod’s dinoriders in battle over her complex, then, suddenly, the Skammrs opened fire to protect their master. Having forgotten that some of his troopers survived the attack on their camp, Aric followed his men to their camp in the foothills.

Would it be possible to change it to

Past Tense – Part II (X-O Manowar Issue 68)

Or if thats not possible maybe a change to the contents table
so instead of this
37 Past Tense
37.1 Past Tense – Prologue
37.2 Past Tense – Part I
37.3 Past Tense – Part II

You get
37 Past Tense
37.1 Past Tense – Prologue X-O Manowar 66
37.2 Past Tense – Part I X-O Manowar 67
37.3 Past Tense – Part II X-O Manowar 68

Just a thought as I think that would be helpful.

For all of them?

Eh... um.... look behind you, what's that?!?!

*runs away and breaks a hole through the wall*

Edit

What you're suggesting is basically the same, btw. In order to alter the contents table you have to alter the section title since the contents table is generated by those titles, not created individually from them.
