There's so much a big con has to offer. (Yes long lines)

, but there's all the movie/sci-fi/hollywood/pop-culture stuff going on, in addition to comic deals and comic hunting. Then there's all the creators and artists. They have movie panels and previews, and opportunities to meet stars.

New York was great. San Diego is easily twice as big.

This might sound slightly lame, so apologies if it does.

I came up with the idea that it might be helpful for everyone if maybe we kindda worked together to work around the long lines of the con to the different panels (as well as the initial line to get in).

I've seen this tactic work at the movie theater, where two-three people get in line to save seats for 10-20 other people.

Now, I'm not suggesting that we save people's seats inside the panels as that would be kindda lame and I think it goes against the rules of the place, but maybe saving places in line is more acceptable. I don't really know.

What do you guys think? Is this something that could work out or interest you in trying? Whoever gets in line first saves a place in it for others from the board?

Of course, it would require checking out the con schedule to get together with people who are going to the same panels that others are going to check out.

Too bad I couldn't go anyway as by Thursday night I'm gonna be completely dead on my feet since I'm gonna get up at around 6 am like I did last year to go to the con
