An awesome silver age book with the first cover appearance of a MAJOR villain for $6? Yeah, I don't mind a little fire damage.

Some of the interior pages near the back have some damage, but none of it extends into the panels.

Really? I never thought anything of what I have is that spectacular. All of these books total cost about a third to a half of what you just sold your Spidey platinum 9.6 for. The trick is to buy looooooooow grade. ;)

I plan on collecting a lot of older vintage books in lower grades as soon as I finish my slab collection. :thumb:

I am really glad I jumped into buying the silver age Green Lantern books. They are fun to have and flip through. They have a feel of history. It is cool to have a comic that is 45 years old.

I tried that, but there's wayyyy too many books out there that are affordable that I want. :P I tried that with my DC war kick, and started building up way too many.

But, I can only afford lower grades on keys... as a matter of fact, I'm actively looking for a G.I. Combat 87 in low grade now. :thumb:

Yeah, I see them at cons sometimes for about guide in lower grade, and considering the ebay prices, I consider that pretty good. ;) Lemme know what you would be willing to spend, and I'll put it on my radar. :thumb:

I'll spend Guide for every GI Combat #75-95 in VG or better (can't be falling apart), SSWS #90-110, and Our Army #81 (HA! HA HA HA!!)-120.

As well, Rawhide Kid #17-38.

Thanks. I used to have HUNDREDS more, but once I started seeing them on eBay for big money I started letting them go and holding on to just my most prized ones.
