Because I speak the truth...its just my opinion...go ahead, hate me...I'll loose sleep...but I'm not a follower and was telling him he didn't have to be. Got a guilty conscience? 'Just do what you feel is ok as the seller in the end', was all i was saying...dbostejano wrote:I really don't like youSquirrel wrote:
No problem for not wanting to give free shipping. You don't have to give offers, heck you only sell here and there; theres no way to 'make it up' else where. I think its being a d ouche to ASK for it on a $5 book given the new postal prices (albeit, not alot, but still...)!
If you give in because someone else gives free shipping and you feel you have to,THATS when i think your a d ouch, and a sheep!
DON'T BE A SHEEP, THINK FOR YOURSELF!

Dude, Mr Squirrel is one cool dude, so dont take it the wrong way.
He was merely putting his 2cents in and certainly not calling you out in a bad way, more like telling AD off for not having the balls to speak up and just say no, whilst being quite honest about asking for free shipping on a $5 book.
You may not understand his approach yet but i can assure you this is the norm and if he really wanted to scorn you he would have done so in reply to your comments already right.
You will see after a while that 99% of the stuff here that sounds off whack is more like just whacky humour and a bit of much needed honesty.
I thought just like you when i first joined but this place is the best place to be, to buy, to sell, to chat and to make friends too.
I really though the old school guys were over the top at first but i just needed to adjust my vision a bit and to relax.
Its all good trust me.

You don't wanna hassle Squirrel, especially not knowing him. He's a good guy... well, underneath all that hair.

dbostejano I hope you read this.
My posts may not total much ~ but I have been here awhile.
I remeber the first board I was with, and someone had a go at me. New to boards I was taken back! And never posted again.
Two year lattar I joined this board (I have only been a part of two boards), hang arround ~ its really family here.
Somethings come across the boards as an attack or rude, but if you heard it from the mouth you can hear the tone, andknow its just a rib / joke / jest.
Recently, someone said something, I was like what???? Then thought, no they didn't mean it like that.
So hang arround! I am sure its all cool (even though I wrote no comment before this)
NB ~ whats the diffenance between a guitar and a fish?
You can tune a guitar, but you can't tune a fish!
Hey I'am a teacher give me a break.
Love is all arround, its in the air we breath. lalalalala
