RAI #3 and BLOODSHOT #0 error issues????

Post by adammikael »

My friend Mike, who has all the CGC's on Ebay, has an issue of RAI #3 and the logo is totally up to the top of the cover, leaving no room between the logo and the top of the book where the normal border would be.
Printing error????

And ... he has a copy of BLOODSHOT #0, but it's miss-stamped by about 1/8th of an inch to the left for the embossing and the "RED" coloring is more of a copper color.

Are these types of errors usual?

Just curious.

The Rai #3 is a common error. It is refered to as Centered or not centered.

There is a link and some pics on the site.

Go check it out.

It is very common to find Valiant books with printing problems,
particularly the chromium cover books... most likely because the
process was still new, and also because the print runs were large.

As far as Rai #3 goes, well-centered copies can sell for a premium
because the majority of the copies in print are "off-center" with
the title closer to the top of the book.

Bloodshot #0 errors are pretty common. Same with all the rest of the chromium issues.

His would be the "average" misscut.

But the Bloodshot #0 looks pretty damn cool :thumb:
