personal checks suck.

Sigh, not my day today. I just recieved an email from an auction winner that he was attending a funeral for 10 days and therefore was unable to check his mail for my..um..check. So today he said he recieved the check but I must wait ANOTHER 10 days for it to clear the bank. Hello week 3 going to week 5. I'm a paypaler for life! This is why I stay away from personal check auctions unless I really want the item, the person feedback is 100% over 200 and the deal is too good to pass up. I just got greedy. Does anyone agree with me?

As a buyer, I like paypal because it is quick and there is no cost to me. I'm not sure if I was a seller how I would feel..... On the one hand, you can get a quick payment, but they charge you the fees to receive the money. I think that the fees would be worth not having to hope checks clear or if they even show up through the mail.
