The interesting twist is that the GD was the one to blame for Sharon's death (until she turned up alive and was a ho for SHIELD and pregnant and hated Steve and is probably actually a Skrull because she probably killed Steve in a scene ripped from BSG when Boomer shot Adama.)Ryan wrote:X-O HoboJoe wrote:My $'s on the guy in the tank being the Grand Director (1950's) Cap.
That's Cap 153-156.sounds interesting. I'm not too up on Cap lore.

I read Cap all the way up to issue 37 this weekend, I had only read up to about 20 previously.
Man. It's good. It was "set everything aside and don't stop reading till I'm done" good.
I am anxiously awaiting more issues.
I like how Bucky is becoming Captain America. I really hope that the rest of Brubaker's run focuses on Bucky becoming Cap more and more, and learning how to fill that role.
I don't want Steve back. I want Bucky.

I have loved this book since the relaunch and Mike Perkins art is the greatest! If anyone other than Bucky had become Cap I would have been *SQUEE*.
But it was him
I'm not sure who was on the exam table in #37 but I cant wait to find out. Seriously though, everyone should be reading this book. It is consistanly a great read.

Darn it. This is what happens when you wait a few weeks to get your comics. Everyone figures out the clues before you even get the book (good job, btw). Yeah, I was thinking the EXACT same thing when I read the issue.X-O HoboJoe wrote:My $'s on the guy in the tank being the Grand Director (1950's) Cap.

So depending on when the Avengers/Invaders mini and Secret Invasion take place relative to this story, we really may have 2 or 3 "Steve Rogers" running around at the same time (I'm glad they've been able to vague on that so far in Cap and let Brubaker do his own thing, not getting bogged down by everything else in the Marvel Universe)
