my not long valiant story

Post by xoman »

Hello ,

Let me introduce to myself ,excuse my language i m from France and i collect comics from almost 27 years but almost in english about 20 years .

In 1994 my comics shop closed and he sell out all comics at price very cheap ; i was only reading marvel comics and i wanted to change for a while the marvel 90 were not good (clone saga ,wolverine without adamantium ,etc...).

And the comic shopper also a friend propose me a set of solar .
At this time i didn t understand the comics because some issus were lost but the tpb of solar was helpful .

The reading was simple and good the story goes on and i was charmed by this man with his power of god and is life as well.

I purchas all the valiant comics vh1 and each title was good as an other .

My preference was for harbinger and x-o manowar but my friend lost all comics of x-o .

After finising reading all my valiant i put them in a safe place and stopping buying comics because of the work so hard and time .

Recently about 2 and half years ago a breakdown in my life i take back all my comics and in mind to re read all .

I rediscover the valiant era and i was very pleased that i missed all of this .
Today my purpose is to collect all the misses issues and it s a pleasure to search for them everywhere i look in conventions and internet .

Thank for the reading and thanks also for the good work and the come back of harbinger by TPB and a movie .the x-o is also preview n my house like the messiah lol.

See you soon

Welcome to the bored!

I was first a Solar fan too, for the reasons you said. He's a man, trying to be a god, or is it a god, trying to be a man?

Good stuff, and welcome!
