Would like some honest advice....

Everything else comic-related that's not VALIANT-related.

If you gave Aric hugs and kisses, would it be XOXO X-O?

Would like some honest advice....

First, I would like to say that I have been on the boards for about 2 months and I have truly enjoyed and appreciated the wonderful sense of community there is here.
Ok, enough of that...my question is only loosely tied to Valiant, let me explian. I had about 10000 comics, I just recently sold almost all of them except some key issues from the 90's, my Valiants, and Spawn.
I decided I am going to sell my key issues which leaves my Valiant and Spawn. I am almost done with my VH1 and they aren't going anywhere ;)
For those who are familiar with Spawn... I didn't really read many of the books back in the day but I collected about 150 spawn related books. I just started reading the Valiants and I am loving every page! I want to know your opinion, is Spawn a good read? Worth keeping? I am only looking to keep books I will truly enjoy and appreciate. If I do keep the Spawn, then I will look to complete the collection. I also have a bunch of the original toys and posters, so the completist in me will keep it all or let it all go.
Let me know your thoughts guys
Thanks

Probably should move this to the non-valiant section.

But I have a full run of Spawn 1-75 and Hellspawn which I got for the Ashley Wood art.

Personally not having read spawn in almost 7 years, it was an interesting comic for what it was. Horror was never really my thing but it took me a few years to realize that spawn was really a horror comic in superheros clothing. I did enjoy the bait and switch , Toddy Mc did to the readers that way.

But all in all the best advice I can give you is, after reading the issues you have do you want to keep them? But that is the test I use for most of my collection now.

The only Spawn I have read is the first 15 issues or so.

I remember liking it..... but it never seemed like he did anything. I only remember like one fight.... (violator and the ice cream man).

He Made Boys Scream
And He Made Girls Scream
So I Made Him Scream and Scream and Scream

at age 12 that was the single coolest *SQUEE* panel ever.
