Thanks!Tim Petty wrote:Brother J wrote:Does DCBS wait to ship all your stuff at one time if something is late or will they ship what has come in and ship the remainder later?
I placed an order to get the X-O hardcover at the great low price, but one of the other books I ordered looks like it's going to be late.
They'll ship what they have if something is late.
If you go to the "My orders" page you can see what items have been ordered, filed but not sent, and sent.
Also anything that is over 90 days late they give you your money back if you ask.
Nothing has shipped yet, but a couple of the books are due in tomorrow according to Diamond's release schedule, so I assume they will be shipping shortly thereafter.
The late book had a problem with the artist and was pushed back to May.

I'm assuming DCBS works the same way MailOrderComics does. When you check out, you specify if you want that order shipped weekly, twice monthly, or monthly. I always choose monthly and at the end of the month (or to be more accurate, the week a new Previews is released which is sometimes the end of a month and sometimes the beginning of a month, but you get the idea) they ship what has arrived that month. Anything that ships late from the publisher just goes into that month's shipment for the month it is released, whenever that is.Brother J wrote:I'm assuming it's monthly, I only ordered books for April, didn't continue ordering from them.Tim Petty wrote:Do you get monthly or weekly?
I hope all of that made sense.

I'm sure they probably did ask how I wanted them shipped, but I have forgotten what I would have selected. I'm assuming it probably cost more to ship weekly or twice monthly, so being the cheapskate I am, I'm sure it was monthly.Heath wrote:I'm assuming DCBS works the same way MailOrderComics does. Yeah, I couldn't wait, so I went down to my shop to pick up the hardcover.Brother J wrote:That would be great, I guess I could have had the hardcover in hand by now if I had not ordered books that came out today...Tim Petty wrote:Brother J wrote:...I'm sure it was monthly.
Your books shipped today then. Should be there friday.
This month's DCBS shipment should be a big one.
