What is the likelihood of us ever seeing new Valiant comics with Valiant V1 characters?

I'm optimistic. :)

Is there something specific that led to you feeling gloomy enough to open this thread?

I am hoping we will. It is more than a possibility, I would say it is a probability.

Honestly, I believe in you
Do you trust in me?
Patiently, I will stand by you
I will stand beside you faithfully

And through the years
I will be a friend for always
and forever call on me
and I'll be there for you

I believe we will see VH1 back in some form, but I don't think it'll be the complete universe. Maybe splitting in to VH1a and VH1b. If they pick up where they left off, it mightl leave a bit of a gap that new readers find difficult to jump in on. Where ever the HCs are going, I believe they will create the path to the "jumping on" point. I hope it's where it ended, but a part of me wouldn't mind if they picked up right before or after Unity. Anything else might get complicated.

Not too often I see a Stryper quote. Matter of fact it is the first.

You beat me to it!!!

That song instantly popped in my head when I saw the thread title.

I'm not ashamed to admit I'm still a Stryper fan! In fact, they've been getting heavy play on my iPod the last couple weeks.

Since VE purchased the properties and began publishing the HC’s, I’ve only assumed that we would be reading new Valiant books soon—thoughts otherwise have not really crossed my mind until now.

Looking at the fan base here and renewed interest in general (just look at eBay) it would certainly be a missed opportunity if VE did not try. Also, I find it hard to believe that VE invested all that money without comic book publication being one of many ways to capitalize on that investment.

FYI, my first rock concert was when Stryper’s In God We Trust tour stopped in New Orleans and I've remained avid Christian music enthusiast.

No problem. You did a great job with the story and any newer members that haven't seen the thread should take some time and read it.
